For those who are not familiar with the disease, multiple myeloma is a deadly form of blood cancer. It is the second most common blood cancer and the third fastest growing cancer in people ages 65 and under. Currently, there is no cure for multiple myeloma, but thanks to new research and therapeutic drugs being developed there is a great deal of hope. The MMRF maintains its role as the world’s largest private funder of myeloma research and enables us to move closer to our goal of accelerating the search for a cure. The August 29th tournament promises to be a fun-filled day for golfers and nongolfers alike, and we encourage you to participate. Event packages are ideal for corporate entertaining.
